(Street dance, Ballet & Performing Arts)

Fees and Payments
All class payments are made through Stripe via our online booking system, Gymcatch.
Class fees are payable in advance on a half-termly basis. By enrolling, you are reserving your child's place for the entire half term, and payment is required for the full half term. We are unable to offer pro-rata refunds or reductions for withdrawals part way through a half term.
For other payments, including rehearsals, uniform orders, and event/show/exam fees, when these are not included on the class course booking on Gymcatch, we accept bank transfer only. Payment details will be provided when required. Please note once confirmed for an event/show/exam fees towards these are non refundable.
Please note that all fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given for short-term illness, self-isolation, holidays, or non-attendance, except in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Miss Gaby.
Cancelling a Place
If you wish to stop attending classes, a minimum of four weeks' notice must be given by email. Notice can be given at any time during the half term, but your child will remain enrolled and fees will remain payable until the end of the current half term. Providing notice ensures that your child's place will not be reserved for the following half term.
If notice is not received at least four weeks before the start of the next half term, 50% of the following half term's fees will be payable.
Late payment charge
If payment has not made by the deadline, a reminder via email/text will be sent, if payment is still outstanding, a £5 late payment fee will be applied for each week that the invoice remains unpaid, for a maximum of 3 weeks. If an invoice remains unpaid for 3 weeks after the due date, students will be unable to continue with classes until outstanding fee balance (inclusive of the late payment charged added) has been settled and their space may be offered to another student.
Payment for events (such as rehearsals/participation fees etc)
Event/show/exam payments will be included within the half termly class course booking unless stated otherwise. If you have not confirmed attendance via the contact form/email, you will be confirming attendance to the event/show/exam via making the payment. If your child/ren cannot attend an event you must let me know prior to payment being made so an amended course booking with adjusted payment can be sent to you prior to the course booking payment deadline as event/show and exam fees are non refundable/non transferable once payment has been made.
In the event of class cancellation (by myself)
Please note in event of class cancellation due to myself, the teacher, classes may be transferred to another date/time, which this moved class fee would be non-transferable and non-refundable.
Collection from a class
Please ensure that your child/ren are collected on time. This is essential to allow me to set up for the next class. Please note a reoccurrence in lateness could lead to a late charge.
Other points to note:
- For the children classes, parents/guardians are welcome to wait in waiting room which is just outside the hall (within the venue) during the session or wait in your car (for 3-6yrs classes) Such as for the toilet/or if your child is struggling to settle into the class if it is their first session) - please note this is permitted for classes only. For shows and events parents are not permitted to stay.
- Please only bring your child/ren to class if they are well and do not have any symptoms or have tested positive to COVID-19 and are required to self isolate.
- Tiers: In Tier 1-3 Classes can continue to run at Stondon Community Centre. In Tier 4/Lockdown classes will transfer online via Zoom.
Fun Days
(Half Terms and School Holidays)
All Fun Day places must be booked through our Gymcatch booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your child's place.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within 3–5 working days.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable and the full fee remains payable.
Collection of Children
Please ensure your child is collected promptly at the end of the Fun Day. A late collection fee may be charged where children are collected after the advertised finish time.
Registration Forms
A registration form must be completed before each Fun Day. Please ensure all medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements and emergency contact details are provided.

- Children attending Fun Days must be able to use the toilet independently.
- Fun days are a drop off and collection event and parents are not permitted to stay.
Fun Day, Class and Event Disclaimer
By booking your child onto a Beat Box Studio class, event or Fun Day, you confirm that:
- Your child is in good health and physically able to participate in the activities provided.
- All relevant medical information has been disclosed on the registration form.
- In the event of illness or injury, you consent to appropriate first aid and emergency treatment being administered if required.
- Where prescribed medication is required during a class, event or Fun Day, appropriate consent forms must be completed in advance. In some circumstances, a parent or guardian may be required to attend and administer medication themselves.
- Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure participants' safety, Beat Box Studio cannot accept liability for injuries sustained during participation, except where caused by negligence.
- Persistent poor behaviour, bullying, aggression or violence may result in a parent or guardian being contacted for immediate collection. No refunds will be given in these circumstances and future attendance may be refused.
- Any safeguarding concerns relating to a child will be dealt with in accordance with our safeguarding procedures and may involve contact with relevant safeguarding professionals or agencies.
- Beat Box Studio may take photographs and videos during classes, events and Fun Days for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish your child to be included, please notify Miss Gaby in writing before the event.
Adult Classes
(Clubbercise, Broadway Boogie)
Classes can be booked and paid for through our Gymcatch booking system.
Age Requirements
- Adult classes are suitable for participants aged 16 years and over.
- Clubbercise participants aged 13–15 years may attend when accompanied by a participating adult.
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
Class bookings may be transferred to another class within 6 weeks of the original booking date, provided at least 24 hours' notice is given before the class starts.
Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Please note:
- A single booking may only be transferred a maximum of two times.
- If a class booked as part of a discounted bundle or pass is transferred and no longer meets the qualifying criteria for the discount, an additional payment may be required to cover the difference between the discounted and standard class price.
Equipment Hire
Clubbercise Glow Sticks:
Only official Clubbercise glow sticks may be used during classes as these meet the required health and safety standards.
Options available:
- First session: Free glow stick hire
- Glow stick hire thereafter: £1.50 per session
- Purchase a brand new pair: £6.50
Illness
Please do not attend classes if you are unwell or displaying symptoms of an infectious illness.
Online Classes
If circumstances prevent face-to-face classes from taking place, Beat Box Studio reserves the right to transfer classes online via Zoom.
Adult Class Disclaimer
By booking onto a Beat Box Studio adult class, you confirm that:
- You are in good health and physically capable of participating in the activity.
- You have informed Beat Box Studio of any relevant medical conditions that may affect your participation.
- You understand that physical activity carries an element of risk and participate at your own risk.
- Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure safety, Beat Box Studio cannot accept liability for injuries sustained during participation, except where caused by negligence.
- You consent to qualified first aid personnel administering first aid should it be required.
- Bullying, abusive behaviour, aggression or violence will not be tolerated and may result in you being asked to leave the session and/or being refused future attendance.
- Any safeguarding concerns will be managed in accordance with Beat Box Studio's safeguarding procedures.
- Beat Box Studio may take photographs and videos during classes and events for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any photographs or videos, please notify Gaby before the session.
