What to wear

For your child’s trial session, they just need to wear comfortable clothing with bare feet. Miss Gaby will send further uniform details when they sign up for the class.

What to bring

A drink and anything your child needs to feel comfortable.

When you arrive

Miss Gaby will welcome your child and help them find the right group.

Feeling a little shy?

That is absolutely fine. Children can settle in at their own pace.

Parents and carers

We have a waiting room just outside the hall, within the venue, where you can wait during the session. Miss Gaby encourages the children to dance independently, but if your child needs you while they settle into the class, she will of course ask you to stay or come in until they feel comfortable enough for you to wait outside.

Shows and exams

Opportunities are available when children feel ready.

Feeling a little unsure? Just send me a message and I will help your child feel ready. Miss Gaby x

Ballet questions

What age can my child start ballet?

Ballet classes welcome children from age 3. Miss Gaby can help you find the most suitable class for your child.

Does my child need any previous experience?

Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and every child is supported at their own pace.

Are shows and exams compulsory?

No. Performance and exam opportunities are available when children feel ready, but enjoyment and confidence always come first.
